Citizen Science Projects with Globe Observer

Description
: Volunteers are invited to collect environmental data about trees, land cover, mosquitos, and clouds by joining the Long Island Explorium Team working with the Globe Observer App. The data will be used to complement NASA satellite observations to help scientists studying Earth and the global environment. How to join the Explorium team: Get the “Globe Observer” app https://observer.globe.gov/about/get-the-app Login and go to “Settings” and then “Join Team” Enter the Explorium referral code GLIDNRMP You’re now ready to join the Explorium team of citizen scientists. By logging your time on this website you'll also be able to earn volunteer hours for the observations you log in the app. Enjoy this citizen science project, and remember to observe current social distancing recommendations and rules.
