Our successful mini camp experience is back for Spring Break! FIVE days of unique STEAM experiences! You can register for 1 or 2 or ALL 5 days.
There’s something for everyone of ALL ages and Every day is a unique experience!
All our programs are run by highly qualified educators and certified teachers. We bring engineering concepts, aligned with common core standards, to ALL ages in a fun way to inspire interest in STEM.
Monday = “Explore the Shore” Let’s explore the Port Jefferson Harbor shore and find out why Long Island is such a great place for all the critters and plants that live here?
Tuesday = “Drawing from Life” Explore mark-making tools like charcoal, pastel watercolor pencils and more as we look closely at living things.
Wednesday = “Wacky Self Portraits!” Let’s talk Cubism and experiment with collage materials as we create wacky portraits of ourselves!
Thursday = “Let’s Go Native!” Learn about how native plants keep our water clean and the birds and the bees and the fish alive and happy, and how invasive plants cause so much trouble. How do we tell the difference? What do we look for?
Friday = “Wiggly Worms” Design respectful, animal-friendly experiments to investigate the senses and reactions of earthworms.
Age: K – Grade 5
Cost: $50/day/child. Light peanut free snack will be provided.
Time: 9 - 12 pm. Drop off beginning at 8:30 am.
